Description:
Greco is a white grape variety grown mainly in Campania in Southern Italy, and particularly associated with the Greco di Tufo DOCG. Greco has been shown to be distinct from the Greco Bianco variety which is found mainly in Calabria, and several grapes outside Campania which have a local name which includes the words "Greco" or "Greco Bianco
Vinification: Soil harvest second ten days of October vinification, soft pressing of the grapes followed by controlled fermentation in stainless steel fermentation temperature 15-17° C aging in stainless steel for 6 months followed in bottle for 4 months.
Food Match: Excellent fish wine for marinated fish, blue fish, fried scampi and prawnsIt also goes well with pecorino or stretched curd cow's milk cheeses such as canestrati.
Also interesting as an aperitif, better if accompanied by appetizers based on Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP and traditional Cilento cured meats
